Excited to share the news: the Wadi Qortuba project has received the Cityscape Global Awards 2018 in the Residential, Low to Medium Rise Category for built projects! Located in KSA, the project is a residential development launched by Solidere International. Our scope included the design of 215 villas, townhouses and semi-detached villas, as well as 3 buildings with 95 apartment units. Our design intent was focused on addressing the individuality of each residential unit within its immediate context. The master plan developed by Solidere International also involved fellow architects @nabilgholamarchitects, @leftarchitects and Bödecker landscaping architects. Happy to find our table for @houseoftoday featured in the @financialtimes design section, along with fellow talented Lebanese designers. Beirut at the center stage again... SHOWDOWN is our response to the brief with which House of Today had invited designers to " drop their masks and shed light on the generic human beings beyond their social self". Showdown is a meeting table that goes beyond courtesies or diplomacies that belie hidden agendas. Table top in steel with gunmetal finish; legs and underface in resin. Choose your weapon and keep calm.
